Q: Why do I have to put in my credit card number?
A: It's a security measure we use to prevent bots that are out on the internet from signing up and phishing our servers. But you can be confident that you can start using our flat rate and invoicing service at no charge for the first 50 work orders.
Q: If Coolfront is "zero-cost", does that mean it's free?
A: Not exactly. Money does exchange hands for work orders, but you are reimbursed by your customers. We'll even give you the first 50 work orders for free... See the pricing page for more details.
Q: Is my company information safe?
A: Extremely. The security of our server farm is on par with that of financial institutions. In order to obtain access one must give thumb print identification.
Q: Will this integrate with my management software?
A: We're happy to integrate. We have written an API that allows any software to build integration with Coolfront. All documentation is available here for developers to get started.
Q: What devices can I run Coolfront on?
A: Coolfront works on most popular smartphones, tablets and computers. It requires only a browser. To run Coolfront offline, your browser/device must support local storage. To see if your browser and/or device supports local storage see CanIUse.com for web storage info.
Q: What does it mean that Coolfront runs "Offline"?
A: When you don't have a live internet connection, it's called being "offline". When offline, you can still create work orders and get the job done. Coolfront will automatically sync your work once internet connection is restored.
Q: If I use this system will I still be able to adjust prices if I need to?
A: Of course. You're still the boss. This is simply a tool that allows your prices to be more consistent and to give confidence to your customers.
Q: Can I upload my own flat rate database?
A: No. Coolfront has a fully managed database of repairs and parts. We keep all the pricing information accurate and up to date for you. We have most major brands and equipment represented in our more than 29,000 repairs and 11,000 parts.
Q: What happens if I can't find a repair in your database?
A: With 25,000 repairs in our database it's unlikely that'll happen, but if it does we give you the ability to create custom repairs.
Q: Can we purchase just your flat rate data?
A: This is a package deal including both app and data. Fortunately we offer integration so you can use Coolfront with your current back office software. Direct your software provider to this page, where they can find documentation on integration with Coolfront.
